History
The Solotone Corporation, from Los Angeles Califorinia, was incorporated on the 26th November, 1945. It was headed by William (Bud) Parr and Forrest E. Wilson and production was out of the Bendix Aircraft plant in North Hollywood.

The Solotone remotes and the library system was developed, designed, and also patented by Forrest E. Wilson and Scott E. Allen on the 26th January, 1949. This patent was one-half shared with the C-O-Two Fire Equipment Corporation of Newark (see Personal Music)
